Repatriation

Import of customs exempted goods to Italy is made possible by the current law to Italian nationals who transfer their residency into the territory of the Italian Republic.

Goods must be items personally owned by the repatriating national(s) and can be furniture, books, vehicles, radio and TV appliances, Hi-Fi plants (make, model and serial number of each device must be reported), tools and professional instruments, as well as all other home used items.

A certificate issued by the competent Consular Office must be presented to the Italian Customs Office to authorize the import.

 

WHO CAN APPLY AND HOW TO REQUEST CUSTOMS EXEMPTION
