The 2022 edition of the Giornata del Contemporaneo will take place in Italy on Saturday 8 October, with extension abroad from Saturday 8 to Friday 14 October 2022. The initiative promotion of contemporary art, curated by AMACI – Associazione dei Musei
The initiative, curated by AMACI – Associazione dei Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani, is realised with the support of the Direzione Generale Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the
General Directorate for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the MAECI.
The event will have ecology as its main theme: in particular, the relationship between nature/living beings and human action. Space will also be given to a reflection environmental sustainability, with the intention of raising public awareness of the connections between art, science and nature by highlighting the need to rethink the art system in response to the global climate crisis.
