The fifth edition of Fare Cinema will be held from Monday, 13 June, the project launched in 2018 which offers a series of initiatives to promote the Italian cinema and film industry in the world, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the network of Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, ANICA, ICE Italian Trade Commission, Istituto Luce – Cinecittà, Italian Film Commissions and the Academy of Italian Cinema – David di Donatello Awards. Also in 2022 Fare Cinema proposes a varied offer of contents accessible for free online until June 19, on the portale italiana and on the MyMovies platform (https://www.mymovies.it/ondemand/iic/).
Italian Renaissance
It is a cycle of conversations with authors representing the renewed attention dedicated to contemporary Italian cinema by international festivals and specialized critics. Produced with the Fondazione Cinema per Roma, the series is accompanied by the viewing of short films signed by each of the authors involved: Gabriele Mainetti, Sydney Sibilia, Laura Luchetti, Susanna Nicchiarelli, Claudio Giovannesi. In addition, each of the five directors participates with an in-depth video interview conducted by Mario Sesti. Centenary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini
