The online booking system \u201cPrenot@mi<\/a>\u201d is to be used for different consular services, NOT for PASSPORT <\/strong><\/p>\n In order to have a new passport<\/a> issued it is of importance that your consular file is up-to-date,<\/strong> (address, marital status, birth of children, marriages, divorces, etc.) according to the procedures illustrated in the sections of<\/strong> AIRE<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and<\/strong>\u00a0CIVIL STATUS<\/strong><\/a>. Please note a consent form signed by the other parent is needed when applying for a passport for minors.<\/strong><\/p>\n In case of discrepancies in the consular file, the issue of the passport is suspended until it has been updated.<\/strong><\/p>\n If a passport is requested by a user who\u2019s not registered in the AIRE (Anagrafe degli Italiani Residenti all\u2019Estero<\/em> \u2013 Register of Italians residing abroad), a NO IMPEDIMENT DECLARATION and AUTHORIZATION will be requested to the competent Authorities. Therefore, a longer time might be necessary for issuing the passport.
