{"id":3553,"date":"2025-04-07T16:42:14","date_gmt":"2025-04-07T06:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conssydney.esteri.it\/?page_id=3553"},"modified":"2026-01-15T09:31:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T22:31:38","slug":"adults","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/conssydney.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/passaporti-e-carte-didentita\/passports\/adults\/","title":{"rendered":"Adults"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li><strong>Before coming to the Consulate General<\/strong>for the issue of the passport, it is of\u00a0<strong>importance that your consular file is up to date<\/strong>, (address, marital status, birth of children, marriages, divorces, etc.) according to the procedures illustrated on\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/conssydney.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/anagrafe-degli-italiani-residenti-allestero-aire\/\">AIRE<\/a> <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/conssydney.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/stato-civile\/register-divorce-decree\/\">CIVIL STATUS<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0the sections. <strong>In case of discrepancies in the consular file, the issue of the passport is suspended until it has been updated;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You will need to <strong>present application in person<\/strong> at the Consulate from Monday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM with the following documentation<strong>:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/conssydney.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/MODULO-PASSAPORTO-ADULTI.pdf\">application form for adults<\/a>;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>the expired\/expiring passport or, in the case of the issuance of the first Italian passport, the Italian identity card, driver&#8217;s license or the foreign passport (as long as the possession of Italian citizenship by the applicant is documented);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Australian resident visa:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cVisa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)\u201d, alternatively a \u201cCertificate of evidence of resident status\u201d issued D.I.A.C. (Department of Immigration and Citizenship) if this was issued after 16\/08\/1992, for those who do not have also acquired the Australian citizenship.
